AIOU Post Graduate Admissions Autumn 2013 Last date to apply is 12 July

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) admissions for MS/ M.Phil and PhD (Post-Graduate) programmes for the Semester Autumn 2013 are opened and continued all over the country now. Admissions forms and prospectuses are availabe on all regional offices and official website of university. Last Date of form submission is 12 July, 2013

The admissions of PhD Programmes are offered in following :

  • Islamic studies (general)
  • Islamic studies (Quran and Tasfeer)
  • Chemistry (offered in Islamabad Main campus only)
  • Iqbal studies
  • Pakistani languages & literature (with specialisation in Pushto/Balochi/Brahul/Sindhi/Saraiki/Punjabi)
  • urdu

The admissions of M.Phil Programmes are offered in following :

  • Islamic studies (general),
  • Islamic studies (Quran and Tafseer)
  • Arabic
  • Chemistry (offered in Islamabad Main campus only)
  • Iqbal studies
  • Mass communication

The admissions of MS Programms are offered in following :

  • Community health and nutrition

Eligibility Criteria :

Eligibility for PhD :

The eligibility for PhD programms admissions is MPhil 1st Division or 3 GPA in the relevant subject and must have passed NTS GAT (subject) test with at least 60 percent marks.

Eligibility for MS :

The eligibility for MSc with 2nd Division and must have passed NTS GAT (general) test with 50 percent marks is eligibility for admissions in MS and MPhil programmes.

Note :

NTS GAT (general / subject) results are valid only for two years. The students who already passed these  tests within this period, they can also apply. NTS special test held on 23 June, 2013 for those students who have not yet passed the test.
