How to Change or Correct Your Home Address / mailing Address of Allama Iqbal Open Univesity (AIOU) :
Home Address or your Mailing address is very important for distance learning education because you are interact with university by posting and recieving letters, roll numbers slips, books, Fee slips and other documents etc. To recieve all things in time you should need to make sure that your Home address or Postal address is correct and you recieved all your documents,boks and letters etc in time. But some times you r home address is changed in some conditions. for example, you shifted your home, or females want to changed their home address after their marriage, your transfered because of your job etc.
So here is a proceedure to change or for correction in your home / postal address step by step:
Step1:
First of all Download Application form and Print out, filled it correctly and completely.

Step2:
After download and print out, please read “Instructions” written at the end of form carefully and complete all requirements according to instructions.
Step3:
Filled Application form with attached required documents post to address given below…
Postal address :
Admission department Block No.4 A.I.O.U H/8 Islamabad.
Phone No# 9057284
Write Phone no# with address, so that if postman have any problem to find department he will contact them through phone.
That’s it. Your Home address / mailing address will be updated by AIOU staff when they recieved your application letter.
Note : AIOU has full rights to reject your aplication. Sometimes address changing request is denied from University during semester and address is changed with start of new semester.

No, its free.
Its better to change address when semester is ended, and you fill a form for taking admission in new semester. But if you want to change your address in between the semester, you may use AIOU form to request them to alter or change your mailing address.

Thanks for detail about the change of adress . I was in dire need of it b/c my M.Ed exam is just to b announced. Hope through it my address will b changed because of the active staff of aiou.

When I applied for admission to PGD Nutrition I was stationed in Rawalpindi. But I have shifted to Peshawar for my new job.
I have joined the Peshawar region students for my study activities and orientation meeting. Please guide me to join the face to face classes, video conferences and all tutor activities in Peshawar as it is impossible for me to come to Islamabad for classes.
